    Cost of installing circuit breakes
    Hi,

We have a detached unit that we'd like to add electricity to it. We are told we need at least 5 Circuit Breakers. I'd like to know how much I should pay to the electrician for installing each breaker ( a rugh estimate of course). We live in Northern California.

    Thanks.

Are you talking literally just the 5 breakers, or the panel, and the wiring for outlets and lights off these breakers?

Best to write down a detailed scope of work and obtain 3 estimates from contractors bidding the same scope of work so comparing apples to apples. Be sure they plan to apply for a permit if required in your area, have the work inspected, and have all the proper liability and worker comp insurances.
