    Duplex wall switch wiring diagram
    How do I wire a switch and a duplex outlet with only one wire from the box to the power source?

    Explain further what your trying to accomplish.

    Will the switch control the recpetacle?

    What do you mean by one wire?

    One wire or one cable with black, white, and bare or green wire?

    Need more detail to your question to get a decent answer.
