    How to replace a snow thrower chute
    I have a older J.D. 214 lawn tractor with a snow thrower. The cabe that turns the chute is broken.How do these two cabels go to the chute[ witch direction ]

    Hi,
    Since Deere does not list a snowthrower for that machine on their parts site, it is probably an aftermarket attachment. You will need to see if you can find a bit more info to receive an intelligent answer. See:

    There are forums for "vintage" garden tractors. Notice the quoted word as that is the critical search term. There are some on Yahoo Groups as well.
