Noise in pipes at the start of a flush
Still having a problem with noisy toilet. Had fill valve replaced and flapper? Now every time we flush the toilet it makes a loud banging/vibrating noise in the pipes, but this only happens at the very beginning of the flush. Only at the start and not every time. When the toilet is flushed within a few minutes of the last flush this does not occur but, When it has been a while between flushes that's when it makes the most noise... need help... very frustrating

So this is an ongoing problem even before you installed the new flush valve, right? Tell us about the earlier problem before the valve swap. This may be water hammer.

No, this is not an ongoing problem b/4 installing the new flush valve. Had absolutely no problems, no noise before replacing flush valve and flapper. All the problems started as soon as we changed the valve and flapper.

Your first sentence "still having a problem with noisy toilet. Had fill valve replaced and flapper" would lead us to believe the problem was there before you did the swap. No matter, when does the noise happen, exactly when the float shuts off the water to the tank or when?

The noise happens at the very beginning (only) of the flush. There's like a vibrating noise in the pipes. Driving me crazy. This problem was never there before. The noise started when we replaced the flush valve and the flapper. The initial problem was the flush valve.

    Hello afaroo,
It looks like I have the fill valve on the left. It was just replaced, and the new one looks like the one on the left.
