Sewer hook up to city riser
    Good morning:
Have a 50' run to city riser, according to my calculations I need to hook up to the riser appx. 12.5" down the riser from ground level to give the run 1/4" per Ft. . What fittings do I need to hook up to a 4"riser? I assume it's a sweep surely not a 90 degrees.
    Thanks in advance
    Mike

When we run a sewer out to the street raiser we use a 45 degree/ eighth bend fitting to angle down and connect to the city. Good luck, Tom

Did you know that the rain run off from your SC mountains replenishes a under ground river that feeds the Florida Aquifer? Next month I might just be drinking your rain water.
Good luck on your sewer hookup, Tom

Sewer Lining or Pipe Burst or push PVC to riser? [ 3 Answers ]

I have an aging sewer pipe. Just so happens that the aging part goes under a main artery/road. Pipe under road is the infamous concrete pipe that is showing aggregate on the bottom. I had my share of backups but thankfully they all went out the clean-out. I kept it open just for that...

I am remodeling the bathroom and have some questions about hooking up to my sewer line. It's a 1940s house on slab foundation. I removed the tub and jack hammered up the floor and found where the previous owners had used a flexible 2" to 1.5" reducer to connect black abs from the tub and vanity...

I am presently on a septic system. Thanks to a new housing development I now have a sewer line 45 feet from the house. I got the permit and have taken care of the impact fees.
