Cost of replacing the french door threshold
I have requested a contractor to replace my french door threshold. He is charging 650.00 for the work. Is that reasonable?

That seems a little steep to me. He only has to replace one threshold, yes, the other is stationary, or do both doors open? Why does it have to replaced?

Does seem steep but we do not know the details about this job. We recommend getting 3 bids for this very reason. For all we know you could be in a very remote area which requires traveling or other issues which must be considered in an estimate.
