    Can I get child support if the father is on disability
    I'm asking if I can get child support from my child father is he get disability ssi

    The amount of your award may be minimal if that's his only income, but you should still file.

    You should file. If he isn't ordered to pay child support, your child may be eligible to receive SSI benefits, as well.
