    My Pom has not eating for 5 days now... what can I do??
    I have 6 year old Pom with a enlarged heart... she had a heart attack at 3 years old... The heart Doc that she has been under only gave her 3 weeks to live... she is now 6... on Dec 3 she started going down... all color in her gums and ears ,tongue were white, then went to gray... so they put her on Enacaod, Lasix and viagra(wow is what I said)... she was was going stiff on me then as she came out of it whimpering... I was ready to say OK can't stand this pain for her... it was not pain just a reflex coming down from the seizures... she is now up and drinking like a fish... but she will not eat... I have tried everything in the book from boild chicken to cottage to fish , cheese(witch she lives for)she has yet to eat... so I have read on everything... nothing has worked... I have read all the comments and I so do feel for everyone... but I feel more for the dogs... if only they could tell us... I am as you all at a loss...

    Your only option is to go to the vet.

    This may be the end, but she shouldn't have to suffer and starving to death is not a good way to go.

    Let the vet look at her, there may be something he can do, or it may be time to end this for her. That's your call, and I wouldn't make it until you've talked to the vet.

    At the very least she needs to be on intervenous right now.
