Who claimed you illegally on their taxes? Was it a mother or father? How do you know they claimed you on their taxes?

If you know what your Social Security number is you can call up the IRS yourself and speak to them about this. You need to identify yourself to them and tell them who exactly claimed you on their taxes and why you think they did it illegally. The IRS will investigate the matter and take the necessary legal actions if they find fraud.

If some one meets the requirements to claim you a dependent, then they do not your permission to claim you dependent.
IRS will not tell you who claimed you. If you feel that you were not dependent, then file your tax return and claim your personal exemption. Then IRS will contact both of you and short out, who must amend the tax return.

You merely file for yourself ( or be listed on the proper persons taxes)
The IRS will know then what has happened
