Furnace Ignitor and Flame Sensor for Trane

An HVAC service provider says I need a new ignitor and flame sensor at $153 and $107 respectively. Is there a cheaper way? Also, he says that my 13 year old furnace has only another year, maybe. Does this sound right? I am a widow and I am wondering if he is trying to scam me.
Ignitor lights but burners won't stay lit

I have a GMP gas furnace, the ignitor lights, the burners light for about 15 secs. Then go out and try to re-light after about 30 secs. Ocassionly staying lit it's a 50-50 chance here. What do I need to do to correct this problem? Thanks for the help.
Heater flame does not stay on

My home ac\heater mounted on the roof Normally when activated I hear a low hum for a few seconds Then I can hear the flame go on A few seconds after this the fan goes on. Recently the flame goes on and off until eventually it stays on Then it works normal after that.

I have a 1991 Comformaker furnace. Problem: it take much longer time (inducer) to turn pilot light "on". Then, flame come "on". But flame will not stay "on" when circulating fan is running. (The flame roll out in about I minute after the circulating fan is "on").
