    Roommate CA
Two years ago, my roommate and I had a parting of the ways. She wanted out of the lease and wanted me to find a repalement, I could not, so she arranged to have her adult daughter and boyfriend move in. To do this , she asked me to sign a release with the landlord, to take me off the lease, which I did immediately. Our arrangement when we lived together was that she paid the electric and I paid the gas bills. Now, 2 years later, she sent me an email wondering if I ever felt guilty enough to help her with the bills I left her with-I am stunned! She's never once expressed the slightest unhappiness regarding the situation, and has never (even STILL) named a price! She also fails to appreciate that I left the gas on for an entire extra month because she needed more time to have it put in her name. What is the statute of limitations on her suing me, regardless of the merits of her case? Okay, and what about the merits of her case?
