    I am making $10.60 hr I gross $424.00 a week after cs and insuranc on my son only and taxs I net $106.54 a week in NC I can't pay to rent a place of my own I can't get tags or insrenc on my car how can I get my cs lowerd or dropet

    It is not a good idea to place your question as a Answer to someone else
    I have moved this to a question of its own.

    It is normally based on a percentage of your pay. Did you provide the court with your income records when support was ordered?
    You will have to go back to court and ask for the support to be modified

    You need to go back before the judge and explain your financial circumstances. The circumstances may have changed since you were ordered to pay child support. If you finances have changed and the judge can see this, your financial obligation may be lowered.

    I know exactly how you feel. I am not sure what I am going to do. I make $10.52 an hour and work a full 40 hours per week. I am also in school part time. I have rent of $585 and a huge car payment I cannot get out of. I have insurance on myself and my car plus my phone and additional daily necessities such as food, shampoo, etc... When all is said and done I am negative. I usually end up living off my living expenses I get through school which is supposed to be for things I need for school, but that just gets me by until the next school check comes. The courts have asked me to pay $400 a month to my ex who makes twice as much as I do.
