Does my husband have to support me
Hi, OK I have been married to my husband for over 20 years.. We both live in Oklahoma.. I have been living on my own and he lives with my daughter.. (just recently). I found out that I have cancer and it has been pretty rough well my husband gets a check from the social security and a military check(he was with them for 30 yrs) any how he went from paying my 3000 a month to 1000.. Now I have to fight him for 1000 what are my options. Does he have to support me? If so what can I do to get my share?

Are you separated? Are these payments court-ordered as some type of separate maintenance or alimony? If he's court-ordered to pay you $1,000 per month, then he's required to do it, pure and simple. If there's no court order, then he's not required to do anything.

Yes unless there is a court order he does not have go give you a penny.

And often spouse support after a divorce is only for a few years.

So you will have to file for divorce, get a divorce and have the judge decide he has to pay you anything at all, and if so, for how many years
