    Heating unit does not stay on
    My unit is staying on 65 and does stay on more than 1 minute. It is very cold in the house and I have changed the filter and the batteries for the thermostat. So what is wrong with the unit?

    We have no idea what kind of unit you have. Brand and exact model migh help us to figure out where to start.

I have a carrier heating unit installed in 2000... it worked fine since then but now... fan will work if we turn it ON by itself... but if we turn on auto heat then heater goes on (blower like sound) but fan doesn't force the air into the house... if we turn off the heat... fan comes on...
