    Router
    I have a net gear wireless router but me computer is windows 200 xp and I put it upstairs and can't get a ethernet cable upstairs so I was going to try a usb wireless adapter can I do it

    Computer is singuular
    Windows 2000 + Windows XP is plural (i.e. more than 1)

    A USB wireless adapter should work fine as long as the drivers are available for the OS.
