    Too many pages
My boyfriend hates for me to have to many pages up at one time. Is it harmful to our computer? Does doing that make it run slow? And if so, is it just while I have too many pages up or all the time? When my computer freezes, which is not all the time, is having too many pages up the reason?

Your computer has a certain amount of memory in it. I imagine you're talking about "Web pages", right?

Well, all things considered, even the busiest of web pages are made up of very small text code. My laptop has 1Gb of computer memory and I frequently have 20 pages (sites) open at one time, and I feel no real degradation on speed.

You should run a "cleanup" utility once a week or so, something like CCleaner is free and does an excellent job. Other than that, it should not matter.
