Check breakers and fuses, then call for onsite help from a reputable hvac company. Or give us a lot more info and we will try to help.

This is kind of like asking us about how to fix your car, and all you tell us is,, it won't go.lol.

I had the same furnace installed about 6 years ago. Every year the first time I turn the heat on the furnace kicks on, never heats up, and then shuts down after around 3 to 5 minutes.

To fix this, every year I have had to clean the air intakes to some kind of exhaust sensor. I did this by taking off the back cover (top most), once inside at the top there is an exhaust tube, just to the right mounted at the top is a round black sensor with a rubber tube going to the furnace and to the sensor. I took off the rubber tube, took a small allen wrench and slid it into the hole at the furnace and the sensor.

This worked every year. EXCEPT this year. Any other suggestions??

Well I just answered my own question. The round thing I called an exhaust sensor is actually a pressure switch. I used a vacume hand pump, the kind I use when I work on vacume lines in my truck. I used it when I cycled power on and kept the pressure switch closed. This allowed the furnace to heat all the way up, guess I will be looking for a new pressure switch. Please excuse my ignorance on these matters, I'm just a tinkerer not an expert.

ciaw2000 I thank you for posting this item as I have the same problem with this unit. I've had this issue for 3 or 4 years and I have received repair qoutes ranging from 65 to 800 dollars. I believe the problem is simply debris blocking the air passage going to the exhaust vent from the pressure switch. I used a thin piece of wire to unjam the air passage and... voila! Problem solved! Saved another bundle!

I keep a couple of these in my tool kit - no kidding. Works great for clearing out the vacuum hose port on the inducer or collector box.
