1st of all I apologize for my bad English,but I should write you now because I got a big problem that makes me so mad to commit suiside if it willl not solve.
I am a new immigrant in Canada.toronto around 3 months ago,but my landing is for last year.
5 days ago I had a birth day party and went to shop for buying some small items for gift but I forgot to pay to 2 small items around 11 $ I came out and after walking some feets I opened my plastic bag and noticed for those items when I wanted to go back the security came to me and then police…they gave me a paper is wriiten for (intended legal action).what ever I explained them it is the 1st time facing this matter was no use.I was just crying there and home but today was my worst day.
I got familiar with a man in a mall and he said let go to ikia for buying some items,he named me 3 items for him to buy.I went to the shop and bought some items for myself and paid for them but I did not pay for his 3 items which was about 150 $ because how could I notice he will give back me the money?I affaid to get out of store and I couldnot call me to come to pay because mobile was not working so I asked the cashier my friend want to buy some items .but he is not how lminutes later you are working?she said 45 minutes more.so I was siting some minutes on the chair waiting him to come,still mobile was not working so I was forced to go out of the shop because it was a under ground shop ans exactly sat on the chir in front of store,waiting to him to come to pay to cashier.sudenlly 2 security persons came and catched me very harm and dropped me in the room.
I was near to die because I just was remembering 5 days ago they started to abuse me as all your items are just stolen ,you will send to the jail,you must be hand cut….then they checked every things from mirror to dresses and throw to the ground them and said you area theaf ….. I couldnot defence myself just remembering 5 days ago I told them I am waiting and I did not go any where if I wanted to steal any thing why I was sitting in the store some minutes and then exactly out of store in front of it?
Mobile was not working and if I would paid for the items he asked me I couldnot get my money back from him because of this I put the item separately under the rolly
But the did not listen to my words,they gave me a paper written (theft under 5000$) and said I must come for finger print next month and to the court.
My back ground job is a researcher and teacher and I never did this ,
These days I am becoming so mistress and worry living in a new country without knowing the rules
I was supposed the ground in front of the store belong to the store and did not know even sitting in front of store with the trolly is against their rule.
I am so worried about this 2 events .how can I prove them to the court.
What will happen to me?
I don’t get a job here in the country what will happen?
How can I go to university for future study?
What should I do?
Please ,help me kindly,I lost my mother in an accident and don’t have any sister and brother or husband,I am alone and don’t know exactly the rules which is different from my country.
But I know that I will never buy the items for any body and will never give a mercy to unknown man,
What should I do?
Shall I commit suicide?I never was in the court or being catched by police or security in my country,but I don’t know what happened here to me/?swear in GOD I did not want to take them without paying. How can I prove it?
What will happen to my future life?my future interview for job and university.what will happen on my citizenship 3 years next when I want to apply?

While these 2 problems are probably very troubling on your mind, they are not that complex and should go away with the proper assistance.

From what I have gathered from your statements, you have committed no crimes, and it is probably just a case of the store security not understanding you.

Now, they might not help you with your legal problems, but they should be able to refer you to a lawyer.

Contact this lawyer and he or she will be able to clear up this mess for you.

No Sir,
I did not tell them about 1st store.but when the police reached told me in the 1st store you have got a break 5 days ago but not you destroyed it.I was shocked and couldnot defence myself.how will believed me there?so what does it mean?meand I have a record on the shops whenever I go any shops they will contoll me?a
2-it meqans I have 2 theft records?
3- I asked a lawyer,he said I will charge u 1200 $ in advance.it is a very big amount.shall I borrow it and hire him?he said I will remove the records and you will not pay them too.
