French movie?
Okay so I remember I was flicking through the channels one night and I came across this movie... I was with my friend and at frist we laughed about it... because they were speaking in french and we were reading the subtitles... but we ended up watching the whole thing and it turned out to be really good and I've been searching for it ever since but I have NO IDEA what the anme is, because it was in french!!
Its about a youn girl in her pre-teens... maybe 12... and she moves to this town and she makes best friends with this girl that gets her into trouble. I rmember the girl only lives with her dad who is extreamly over protective. I remember at one part of the movie, she goes toa pool party and the father keeps calling like every 2 minutes worrying about stuff tehn... at one part in the movie he catches her with a boy in the park and he freaks out and takes her home. Then, at another part, she is supposed to go to the school dance and the father slips something into the girls food after he cathes her in the park and it makes her really sick so she ant leave the house. When she realizes that she's sick, he starts giving her the pills as "medication" even thoguh it's the stuff that made her sick in the first place... eventually (I forget how) but someone figures this out and gets her to stop takeing the medication and she gets better and sneaks off to the dance, when the father finds this out, he freaks out and follows either her or her friend to the dance or something... and he chaces her through the forest (im pretty sure it's the friend)... at the beginning of the movie, you see the friend (the one that gets the girl into a lot of trouble) crossing the street with her eyes closed... because that's the only way she could cross the street, so when the one girls dad is chasing her, when they get to a street, she closes her eyes and the dad ends up getting hit by a car... It's a pretty good description so I hoep someone can help... I saw it on the digital cable box so I'm not quite sure... but id really like to know the name of this movie because it was a really good movie THANKS! :) |
