    Florida labor laws breaks
I currently work for a call center in the state of Florida, I clock in at 7:30am and do not get my lunch break till 1:30P or more, I work an 8hr shift. And do not receive any breaks in between, and in addition I have to ask permission to use the restroom, I have worked my whole life and have never had a job that made me work over 5hrs without a 10min break, and where my restroom breaks were regulated, and in addition to my late lunch break... Is there something wrong with this, everyone I have spoken to seem to think there is something wrong with this picture, can you please advice as to what is right by law and what is not, please do not advice with looking for another job, I'm already working on that... Thanks!

Fair labor laws require a lunch break, -paid or unpaid but no requirement for any other breaks. If you are unhappy you can ask your supervisor for break or look for a job with more flexibility. This company is not breaking any labor laws, they are just not nice/good to their employees and may not give a darn about you folks.
