Google/how to trans plant sago palms
Thank you, I would like to know how to take a piece of one sago palm-(and which part)-to transplant to a pot. How would I do this . The plant I have is getting too big for the space under the stairs. It is about a three feet by three feet plant and I would also like to know where I can sell the plant. It its in very good condition.
    Thanks,Bert

I just transplanted my Sega because the wind blew it over and broke the pot. I did it like a regular plant, except I had to watch all the sharp fronds. It was pretty big, could barely lift it by myself... maybe 4x4:)

My sago palm is now old enough to have produced a male "cone". Should I leave it alone or cut it off? It is starting to fall over (almost 12" long). My female sago produced new fronds this year, but not the male -- will it after the cone falls or is cut off? Thanks, erickjm
