    Replace a G.E. Weathertron thermostat
I want to replace a G.E. Weathertron thermostat (heat pump) - model 3AAT80B1A1 with a White Rodgers Universal Thermostat - model 1F95-1271. Will I have problems connecting the wires? Am I asking for trouble?

You shouldn`t be asking for trouble if you follow the directions exactly

Be sure and turn off the power to furnace (at breaker) before you start
