Hi it's normal. I know it can be embrassing... well I don't know personally, I'm a female but what you can do it:
-Put your books in front of you when you walk out
-Think about you mom or just anything that'll "turn it off". Sports, Parents, Spongebob...

I don't think you can avoid getting an erection but you can either hide it or try to turn yourself off!

Also if you start paying attention more in class and concentrate on what the lesson is it should reduce your embrassing moments ;)

Well most males will have to deal with them for a long while so you have to get used to them.

Going through puberty will be the most times you get lots of them as your body goes through the changes.
Think of something grose and that will help it go down!!
