    Can a non violent convicted felon get a passport to visit my wife in Germany?
    I would like to visit my wife or move to Germany but I am a non violent convicted felon can I get a passport

    Yes, you can get a US passport, which is merely a Federal form of ID.

    The question would be whether you can get into another Country, such as Germany. It's up to the German Government whether to admit you.

    Yes, you can obtain a passport but you won't be able to enter Germany on a visa waiver program. You need to apply for a visa at the nearest embassy/consulate.

    If you are seeking immigrant visa to Germany, with your previous record, you need to have immigration attorney to file a waiver.
