    Immigration report fraud
What can I do if my husband married me for money? My husband is from El Salvador and has his green card. I married my husband and he wouldn't help with the house and work every day. He would only pay about $400 a month towards our 1 bedroom apartment then borrow $100-$200 dollars over the course of the month. This is not good because we live in a very expensive neighborhood that he agreed to live in. He should be paying at least $600 a month and that wouldn't even be half of what needs to be paid. He also complained that we didn't have upgraded cable. I told him to pat for it. My husband is also abusive, and has been found guilty of domestic assault, but has served no jail time. I am pregnant, and live with only couches as my furniture... I don't even have a bed. My credit score is in the low $500s because I cannot pay for everything, and everything is in my name. When I asked him to put some of the bills in his name to divide up some of the responsibility, he agreed. But when the time came to do it he faked an agruement to get out of it. I suspect my husband doesn't love me.
I tried to talk to my husband, but all he would say is "I don't want to", and he sounded like a child. His pastor also told him that Christians don't have to worry about work or money and tat they just have to go to church. His pastor is his step father, and I think his family thinks I am supposed to be his American money.
I feel horrible, I love my husband sooo much, and I'm having his baby. I just don't understand how people can do these kinds of things.

I forgot to mention that when he says " I don't want to" he is refusing to work the normal 5 days a week. He only works 1-3 days a week, and in the past 8 months he's only looked for one job because I made him.

What do you really want? Nobody could change him.

How long have you been married? If less than 2 years, you should make a decision real quick whether if you want to let him take control of your life and your baby or get rid of him permanently... you need to act now. If he hits you, report to the police immediately... he won't be able to remove conditions at the end of 2 years term.

Nobody can abuse you unless you allow them to do so... don't let love & lust cloud your judgment. Be smart.

It is your choice, and why report him? Just divorce him and move on.

And what or why do you love him?
