When I turn on the TV, the Grid Display always comes up, I can't get rid of it, it did not come with a remote. How do you get it off. HELP

I have the same kind of television, are you using a universal remote to turn it on? On mine if you turn the power on from the actual TV and then using the remote for everything else works fine, the grid won't come up when you actually hit the power button on the TV. That's how mine works anyway, hope this helps
