    My cat licked hair dye
My 11 year old daughter and her friend thought it would be a funny idea to dye the tip of our cats tail auburn. They used the Loreal Paris hair dye I have under my sink. Not only is my bathroom completely dyed and ruined, but they both also informed me that the cat was licking its tail while they were trying to clean up the mess. So now not only am I angered, but I am also worried about the well-being of our family cat, but I can not afford veterinary services at this time. Is there any thing I can do to prevent our cat from becoming ill, I believe she is fine right now, but just a bit shooken up.

Look for an emergency number on the hair dye or call the poison control hotline. You should call the vet and ask.

    Poison Control: 1-800-222-1222.
