    Belly Button piercing
    I got my belly button pierced about a week ago and its red around the top hole and is kind of sore... is it part of the healing or is it maybe getting infected?. I clean it 4 times daily... is that over cleaning it?. whats the best way to clean it?. I just use soap and water...

    I wouldn't use soap and water, I would be getting an antiseptic spray or using sea salt washes.

    With salt washes though make sure you thoroughly wash with clean water afterwards.

    Don't over clean it, 4 times a day is far too much, just once morning and night should be enough, the more you touch it the more irritated it will get.

    Try to wear loose clothing for a while so the fabric doesn't rub as much and causes less irritation, I'm surprised your piercer didn't tell you all this.
