My hair is thinning and falling out.
During my pregnancy I had really thick pretty hair, after I had my baby my hair got really thin and its started breaking and falling out. I have hypothyroidism and I was told that is possibly why my hair is getting thin. I was wondering what I should do to make my hair thick again. Should I keep taking pretnatal vitamins? Also what is something I can do to make my hair grow faster?

Do you take any medications? Could this be side effects to any medication you are on? Folic acid is a very good. Need to ask your doctors and pharmacist to see if it may be good for you.

I take Synthroid for my hypothyroidism, Birth control and an iron supplement. But I took the iron and synthriod through my pregnancy and my hair never did what its doing now.

You need to get hormone levels checked. Things do usually change after pregnancy.

Got full blood work done at my 6 weeks appointment. I got my synthroid adjusted. And I've going to every month to an endoconologist. I've gone twice and every time I go they do blood work to check my hormones.
