Yes I would like to know is it too late to sue your parents in the state of Arkansas because they took all your money or you can say stolen. My dad died from a car accident when I was 4. My grandmother sued the bread truck that hit him and she left me with a lot of money. My parents spent my money and used it on thing they were not suppose too. But my question is can I still sued them for my money if I'm 27 years old.

Your state has some funky laws like any age marriage with parental consent. I'd check with a local attorney familiar with family law in Arkansas. In most states you can not sue anyone until after your 18th birthday. For you, that was 9 years ago and there may be a statute of limitations on this.

This is a complicated situation. And the details you provide are very sketchy. But there is a possibility, if YOU recevied a large insurance settlement that was placed on trust for you and that is now gone, then you may have a case.

Your best bet is to contact an attorney and go over the WHOLE story with them.

There is also a possibility that you don't know enough of the facts. Also, even if you do winm do you think they have any money to pay a judgment?

Yes, for example when my son got a large settlement for a law suit, it was put in trust, except for some for needed care, ( I had to submit reciepts) I could not get any of the money.

And they may have been allowed to use some to cover costs of raising you.

Also, dad died, but your parents spent the money.
Your grandmother sued ? Why did she sue, not your mother or the estate ?

Next who actually received the settlement ?

Next how did the money come to you, if your grandmother left it in the will when she died ( if she got it )

But in any case you most likely have waited way to long to address the issue.

It would depend on where the money went. If the settlement was to you it would have been placed in trust with accountings required.

I'm parroting everyone else - consult with an Attorney.
