I'm almos 3 weeks delayed and I tried to take HPT. I forgot to use my urine on the time I woke up at night (Im working on a night shift). So when 2 hours after I ate and drank a glass of water, I tried to use the HPT. The result was negative. Is it accurate? Or can I still be possibly pregnant? I don't take pills. But we do it by withdrawal. I hope to hear an answer from anybody.

I'd take a second HPT using as close to a 'first' urination of the day as you can get.

Yes, you could be pregnant and it still could be a while before a urine test will detect it. If you really think you could be pregnant, make an appointment with your gynecologist as soon as possible for confirmation and to start prenatal care.

Do you have any other stresses in your life that could be affecting your period?

If it turns out you aren't, do you want to become a parent? If not, then I suggest finding a better method of birth control.

I was thinking that It could be because of my new work. I'm working for 6 months straight of night shift. Can this affect my period? I checked my calendar, and I think Im lost of the date the last time I had my period. All Im sure is that for the month of September, the first day of my period was Sept 14. And after that date, I don't remember having period again. I don't feel too much of the symptoms yet.

Was your period regular up until September?

I think I would make an appointment since it will probably take several days at least to get in. If you aren't pregnant, I think you need to discuss birth control with your doctor. The Withdrawal Method is like pregnancy roulette.
