    Asbestos Floor Tile
I want to seal the asbestos tile and put down new tile. What kind of sealant should I use?
The floor has carpet over the tile. I am worried about taking up the carpet strips.

Are theses tackless carpet strips nailed into the floor? How do you know for sure that the tile contains asbestos? Can't tell by looking at it.

One More response, attached is a good reference. If your floor tiles are not damaged then you can seal them. If they are you can still cover them with a new floor without sealing as the asbestos poses not threat as long as it is not disturbed in any way. Good Luck
