Troubleshooting an auxiliary heater with power applied requires great care to avoid personal injury, or worse, personal extinction. Normally, the sequencer heat motor (coil) is powered by 24 volts, and a delayed switching action (both ON and OFF) is produced. If sequencer is powered but no current is measured, check for 240 volts (or thereabout) across the sequencer switch(es). If present, switch(es) aren't closing, indicating a faulty sequencer. If 0 volts are measured at this point, the problem lies elsewhere - fusible link, limit control, heater string, wiring, or power supply.
