    No Phone Jack in apartment
    So these are new apartment and there isn't a single phone jack in the apartment, the office said that if we get "Charter" (a sorry cable company) they will put the phone jack in but I don't want charter. Any laws about access to emergency services? We can't call 911 from a land line if we don't have a phone jack and I'm not getting charter they are terrible. Also is there a SPECIFIC statute stating that maintenance is required to give 24hr notice if so can someone post the link I can't find it. In Missouri. Pacific, MO specifically

    Read your lease carefully, if there is no claim that a jack is present then its up to you. Call other phone companies available in your area to see how they handle the installation. Can you be more specific about the maintenance issue?
