    Everything but heat
I have a bryant plus 90 furnace that is giving me some real headaches. I'm a mechanic by trade and have very little experience with hvac. I can build a bad harley or dragster with ease but no dice with this hvac stuff lol. All right now when I turn the heater on either by plugging it back in or from the thermostat the (for lack of terminology) water trap fan works, the pilot lights, but no hot air. The blower motor is turning but real slow from what it seams. If I leave it on in about 10 minutes a smell comes from the vents but with the motors visible and all the internals like circuit board and vac tubes there isn't any visible smoke or smell anywhere in the unit. I also noticed a red led flashing and on the removable panel it says a bunch of codes. The code is either 12 or 21. 12 being blower on after power up and21 being gas lockout. I'm leaning towards 12 because that's the way it says to read it. Please help my grandmother has been without heat for 4 days now (the sympathy card lol) heeeeelllllllppppp!

The cheapest ,1st thing to do is remove and replace the capicitor that's is connected to the blower motor, less than 10 bucks,I know for a fact if my grandmother was still alive I would not wait 4 days before seeking help,, be sure you replace the capicitor with an exact match,, goodluck
