    theft under 5000 (ham worth 3.43)
    My kids and I went to Zehrs. Bought some ham and gave them some and I put it in my stroller thinking that if they were already eating it I was not paying for it which was really dumb!
    I saw a perfume and I opened it so I can smell it because there was no tester. I put it back on another shelf but I didn't take it.
    My baby was playing with a hair product that I was going to buy and he kind of broke the package and I gave it back to the cashier when I paid telling her that I didn't want to take it but if I needed to pay for it I would.
    The only thing I took was the ham... so BIG DEAL.
    I showed them where I left the perfume and they confirmed that the hair product wasn't missing anything so... I stole 3.43 dlls worth of ham.
    I have a date to appear for photos and to court.
    Does anybody know if the photographs and printing date could be changed because I am going on X Mas vacation. The police officer told me to call and see if they could change it.

    If the Police Officer told you to call and see if the date could be changed, then that's what I would do. That Officer is far more familiar with the legal system in your area than anyone here.

    Do what the police officer told you to do. It's worth a shot at least.
