    02 Accord - Electrical
Hope someone cah offer a solution.
    2002 Accord Coupe SE
First sign of problem was weird flash of parking lights when I used the remote lock.
Strange I thought, never noticed that before (70K original owner).
Thought nothing of it until I started to hear this pong noise. Guess you could call it a beep yet it is muffled and sounds like the old video game pong. The beep rate is fast with a 30min ride duration. Other times it is intermittent. On occasion I see the wiper blades inching up from the down position. No rain in 3 weeks, no reason for them to move, never had before.
At night, I see the dash flasing including the clock. Not often, yet the red icon (electrical?) flashes in microseconds. Almost doubt you saw it.

OK. Brought this into local shop (normally relaible).
3 days and $500 later, I got my car back. Mechanic told me the alternator burnt out
In the process of troubleshooting the problem.
Bottomline, all of the above is back save the pong frequency. Still happens, duration not as long.

Looking at some other threads, there was mention of a MULTIPLEX Unit?
The threads tied in dash lights and Radio.
Come to think of it, I noticed my reception being weaker than normal. Never thought to tie the two issues together until this thread mentioned it.

Does anyone think this could be the root of my problem? Any advice is appreciated.

The ecu grounds out in a bundle of small 10 Gauge? Wires by the starter. If the ground is bad you will get intermitant operation and weird things going on with the dash lights. Someone told me this and I thought "ye Right" 3 days later I checked and fixed the problem.

    Good Luck

Thanks for the lead. When you say fix, did you replace the ecu? Please explain.
    Feeling hopeful.
