Why isn't my period come back after 4-5 months?
I'm 13 now and I had my period on June 15 2009. And the bleeding had stopped after about 10 days. And I've been waiting for my period to come back but it hasn't yet! It's November now and it's still not commong back! Tell me what's going on! I'm afraid that I might get this serious deasise or something.

    First off calm down!
There are several logical reasons as to why you may have missed it after having it.

First off, if it was your first one then it's normal for your period to be irregular when you first start, particularly if you don't weigh very much.

Other reasons could include if you're really active or stressed out.

If your really concerned ask your mother or have your parents take you to your doctor (you don't have to talk to your parents about it if you don't want to, though I'd advise it).

It's pretty normal for your period to be irregular... coming back and then going away then coming back when you least expect it... sometimes it lasts for up to 10 days and it's very heavy. Your body will find a normal cycle but it takes time. Relax... enjoy not having them every month just yet :). There is nothing wrong with your body. If you have any questions about your period... like if you should use a tampon or how many times you have to change your pad... or anything don't be afraid to ask... there are no stupid questions in health!

Have you considered talking to your parents about this?

Click on the blue and it will talk about the irregular period... there is a site for teens too where you can talk to other teens your age about stuff like this if you want I can put it in the post?

It takes several years for your period to become regular at your age. You may not get a regular period until you are 18... OR you may be one of those girls who NEVER gets a regular period.

Hey that happened to me, except for longer. Don't worry. My period stopped in may, and came back in November. Give it a little more time!
