    Weight conversion
    I have a recipe for Naan bread and need a .25 ounce packet of active dried yeast, which I am unable to buy where I live. I can however get fresh yeast, can anyone help with how much freash yeast I shoud use please. The amount of flour is 4.5 cups, which I think is 18 ounces.

    1/4 ounce dry yeast (2 1/4 teaspoons) =1 cake fresh yeast (0.6 ounce)
    hope that helps:confused: It's on the back of my dry yeast package.
