Kitchen Aid Dishwasher - Water Level in tub
Have had new dishwasher installed. How can I tell how much water should be in the tub? I have looped the outlet hose under the counter as the user instructions say so it doesn't siphon yet it doesn't appear that there is enough water in the tub for the spray arms to rotate. The water float level is not obstructed. When I open the door after the water valve shuts off there is barely enough water to cover the screen at the bottom of the dishwasher.
Could it be that I need to shut the power off so that the computer can reset?

There isn't a lot of water that stays in a dishwasher, canmore. Dishes are mainly washed by a lot of hot constant spray and the amount you see in the bottom is all that should be there. Dishwashers don't wash by submersion.
