I am actually not aware of the benefits/differences of the four i.e.. Start, Home Premium, Professional and Ultimate. The URL seems to be handy to understand the necessities for my desktop.

I must understand the whole issue, take a back up and then decide which one is to be loaded.
One thing more. My PC has 4 partitions. My Documents is in Partition D and not in C whereas the Programs are in partition C. Will it be necessary to take a back up of all files/folders in the partitions D, E, F alongwith those in C?
