    New toilet doesn't fit
I was having trouble with my toilet so I bought a new one. It doesn't fit the foot print of the old (very old ) one. I can't sit the tank level and secure the way the toilet sits. Is there any wiggle room (forward) when setting a toilet and wax seal over the sewer pipe? I just need about 1/4 inch.

You should be able to slide the closet bolts a quarter inch forward in the flange slots to give you the room you need. Good luck, Tom
