Violated Probation several ways now what
I violated my probation and want to know what could happen now.
I was on Probation for 5 years for felony drug possession, while on probation, I stopped reporting (violation 1) then I also left the state without permission (vioation 2) and then I also got charged and convicted of another felony drug possession in another state (violation 3).
The second conviction ended up being 5 years probation, however I put in a transfer request to go back to my home state which got approved. (Keep in mind I am already in violation status with my home state because I stopped reporting within the first year of being on probation in the first place)
What do you think will happen once I return to my original state since they accepted the transfer request.
I do not have a job, an established residence, or any record of a job or anything since the first conviction.
Do you think I will have to serve time?

If you somehow get your probation transferred back to the original state where you absconded from, chances are pretty good that you'll have to attend a probation violation hearing and then go serve your original time in jail.
I'm surprised that with your second felony that the other state didn't catch the fact you were on probation for another felony. Usually during the presentence investigation stuff like this is caught. They might have been sleeping that day at their desk.

The other question that I did not ask is about the fact that they accpeted the transfer, and now I can not get a travel pass until I provide my second state with my travel arrangements, do you think the original state will be notified and possibly waiting to arrest me as soon as I arrive back.

To be honest, I personally am not the person in that scenario. The person is someone that is a friend of mine. I do feel that he should do time, and I feel that justice will not be right if he has the opportunity to continue to move around freely. I also think that it would be better if he did jail time because otherwise this will be a third slap on the hand, and I suspect will leave him feeling as though he can do what he wants and get away with it...

I have difficulty - in fact, AMHD has difficulty - with people who post and don't tell the truth. Half the world claims a problem is their's and it's not; the other half claims it isn't and it is.
I don't understand why a question which people are going to take time to think about and answer starts with a lie.

Because I wanted to put it out there and let people respond so that he could see that I did not influence or bait the answers...
I have no issues with my life, I am employed full time and a hard working mother who is also working on my graduate degree. I do not nor ever had any issues with the law, drugs or anything, one speeding ticket in my 40+ life!
Sometimes the people that are closest to you will not listen to you but will listen when others have something to say... so that I why I presented it in that tense. I already knew those answers

I no difference in answers if the OP says "me" or "my friend" and I think or present tense (which you refer to) or past tense.
I'm not the one accusing you of anything; you're the one who posted that this is about you.
I suspect others are not going to answer based on the same concerns I have.

Hello:
Actually, I'm not an exconvict. My brother is. I've never even had a speeding ticket.
