Hello, I've just installed 2 harbor breeze fans that came with LCD remote. Everything works as they suppose to. 2 remotes controlling each fan with dip SW set up. Then, I thought it would be nice if I purchase the wall remote unit so that I do not have to search for remote all the time....

I purchased a harbor breeze fan about a year ago. I also bought a separate remote for it. Recently I am able 2 turn the fan on but the lights just blink on and then quickly turn off. The lights won't stay on. I have changed the batteries. Where do I troubleshoot to fix my problem?

Ok, so here's a summary: I installed a Harbor Breeze Airspan 69" fan, it was mostly pretty simple, but it was the first ceiling fan I've installed that was remote only (no switches).
