I want to know, when my daughter turns 18 and she is finished with high school and I don't owe any back child support, can the child support be terminated when she turns 18? Or, do I have to continue to pay child support while she is in college, if she goes.

In many states child support stops at 18. So if that is the case for your area then yes you can stop after 18 and graduated High School. If your paying through a state agency then I would advise that you notify them of the upcoming change. That way when the time arrives it can be stopped. If your not paying that way then it may require a visit to the courts for an update and termination.

What state is this as some states do continue until age 21.
