Removing wood burning heater with flu
How do I remove a wood burning heater from the hearth? It has a flu which goes up through the ceiling and out of the tiles on the roof - no chimney.

Get some help those things are heavy. Disconnect whatever is connected and remove unit. Then plug the flue or remove it also. If you remove you will have to patch hole in roof.
