When birth control pills first came available, they often did lower the sex drive. There was something in the pill. However, this is not the case in these days. Maybe you and your girlfriend need to talk about what appears to be a difference of opinion in regards as to how often you two have sexual intercourse. You, apparently, feel sex is for every day. She, apparently, does not. Have you matured enough to realize women are wired differently than men? Instead of making the lack of sex an issue - make an issue out of finding out what she is needing from you in order to feel loved and appreciated and desired - not an object of sex.

If she states that nothing is wrong, I would doubt it. Something is wrong, you two just need to work through this. There could well be other factors playing in your relationship that have not been identified.

One of the side effects of the three month injection is depression. Please get your girlfriend to a doctor that can help diagnosis and treat what is going on with her.

Best of luck to both of you.
