Lol so I was supposed to give my friend advice on this subject but it happened to me so I didn't know what to tell him..

Basically... his girl friend goes up to him after they had an awesome time at a park and 2 days of being at his house... they dated for about a month, and then suddenly she ends it... so here are pointers... this is what she said.. (at the break up, after she wanted to be friends)

-"Im just not feeling it anymore" (he then asked why she keep'd it going for so long) her response was "i liked the attention".

-"we went to fast"(but this doesn't make sense because I told her that my friend wanted to take it slow and take her on a date.)

Later after he pissed her off (trying to figure out more deeply what's was going on), her friend tells him that after dating some people she met him and he was just better then any guy out there... but then suddenly (like my problem) just looses all attraction... oooooooook.. .

So pros... and cons

-hes an awesome guy... (what she said)
-he makes her laugh.. a lot
-he makes her happy..
-hes a good looking guy
-hes a romantic.
-shes never met a more interesing guy (again what she said)
-hes gone super out of his way for her...

But(s)

He's going in the marine with me... (not for 4 months)
They went a little to fast (he went down on her twice without a date, but she didn't say she didn't like it... ) and he always excepted he was going to fast and... in lack of a better phrase
-got off her-... but he wanted to make up with a heap of dates and just fun..

That's all the cons I can think of...

You forgot another con.. this is second hand information,you were not there..

This is his version of events.

He may be a great guy,but if she said its over that's it.. no more.

Tell him too move on and start no contact.

Being a nice guy does not make you the right guy.

Feelings change,that's just the way it is,she probably had other reasons but did not want to hurt his feelings.

This guy is basically saying: "I rushed you through a relationship, but i'm a 'nice' guy so you should be happy with that" NO. This guy is lacking commitment.
Going down on her twice before a date shows you EXACTLY where his priorities lie.
Going into the Marines should not be a con- if this girl is committed to the relationship, well, she wouldn't have broke up with you. And if this guy was committed he would've respected her. Both of these people were in the wrong.

As far as, why would she leave so suddenly?? What more do you need- she explained it and said it very CLEARLY, and to be honest, it is a problem in many teenagers, and young adult's relationships. SHE LIKED THE ATTENTION. The "lovey" feelings fizzled out for her, and this guy didn't respect her enough to take things slow. They jumped into the relationship because she wanted attention---They put the relationship on 'full speed' because she got the attention she wanted, and now she is very wise for realizing that it is not a healthy relationship.

Yea that's what I figured and told him but then he told me that he asked her why she kept it going? And made him feel so bad? She tried to... well not get with me but she tried hanging around me to make him feel bad.. I told her to F off and go to him because he's going out of his way to make her happy.. . she just looked at me and walked off...

So I kind of feel like she used him for his emotions and to boost her pride...

Plus... he told her he realized they went to fast.. . infact he stopped kissing her until they went out on a real date..

These are the reasons I'm confused and why I can't really help him... :confused:
