    John Deere L100 Drive belt replacement.
    Please help me how to change belt on John Deere L100 17 hp OHV Lawn Mower.

    Got stuck on steering rod and don't know how to remove it to place the belt.

    Hi,
    You will need to romove the deck for easy access. The nut and gear on the bottom of the steering rod need to be removed and the rod/steering wheel slid upwards. Gears are marked with dots for alignment. You may wish to have help to get the steering wheel straight when putting back together. Picture attached
