    Smell in down stairs bathroom
We replaced the flooring in our downstairs bathroom. Thus tub, sink and toilet were taken out and put back in. Originally I forgot to put new wax seal down on toilet... replaced it this week. Over the past few weeks we've been getting sewage type of smell. Tried the bleach in tub, sink and toilet... but smell hasn't gone away. Other suggestions. Thanks!

I would recheck the wax seal. A wax seal can contain liquid but pass odor. Gas escapes much more easier then water. Good luck, Tom

I would pull and reset the toilet with another wax seal. Wet and humid weather make odors heavy so that they tend to concentrate closer to the ground, and that's the reason the smell's worse in damp weather. Good luck, Tom
